From June 15-30, Rewind: Buffalo Video Art, 1985-1995  will be screened as part of La Video Shop, a pop-up microcinema in Paris. During the last two weeks of June, La Video Shop will occupy an empty storefront gallery at 40 Rue Quincampoix in the Beaubourg district of Paris, just around the corner from the Centre Pompidou. Rewind: Buffalo Video Art, 1985-1995, which was originally curated for Hallwalls Contemporary Arts Center’s 40th Anniversary celebrations, features work by Fred Bacher, Kevin Fix, Armin Huerich, Chris Hill, Cheryl Jackson, Richard Kegler, Meg Knowles, Lou Mang, John Saxe and Richard Wicka.
